Any adult citizen of Bangladesh engaged in any profession and with initiative and enthusiasm for social welfare is eligible to become member of EPSF General Body. General members elect an eleven-member Executive Committee for a period of two-years from amongst themselves in accordance with procedures specified in the Constitution.
The Executive Committee formulates the policies and appoints an Executive Director/ Project Directors who are full time staffs of the organization responsible for execution of the policies. He is supported by a group of committed and professional staffs. The Executive Director being the Chief Executive Officer of the organization is also the member-secretary of the Executive Committee and is the linkage between policy formulation and execution.
Ehsan Proshikkhon Seba Foundation (EPSF) has an advisory committee Executive Director is overall in charge of the organization and responsible for day to day operation and management of the organization and its program activities assisted by a core management team. Under the Assistant Director there are Program Managers for each program and each program operate as of its own organogram. Currently there are 80 regular employees and 250 contractual/project staff. Program Manager is in charge of overall program and coordinates all the activities of the project.
The Director retains ultimate control of all financial matters. However, the responsibility for all the day to day accounting activities, including preparation of budgets and monthly and annual accounts rests with the Manager- Accounts, who reports to director. The handling of purchase and payments is delegated to the appropriate staff member, but these are monitored and controlled by the accounting systems and procedures in place according to the purchase & procurement policy. Ensuring the effective management and coordination Core management team regularly meet and discussed about the program operation and management issues.
